The purpose of this site is to use the Internet as a way to increase communications between the Delta Chi Clemson Chapter Alumni and the Undergraduate Chapter, as well as fellow Alumni. We would appreciate any input that you may have. Please come back often as try to improve this site.
New enhancements to the Website.
The website has finally received some minor updates. The site is being used as a 'Guinea Pig' for a new content management system that will allow easier, faster updates to the site. Hopefully, this will allow for quick changes that do not require any HTML coding experience. Look for this information to be changed as info comes in, rather than when time allowed for HTML updates (which was unfortunately, almost never).

Brother John Birkhead married Beth Brown on August 2, 2003.

Brother Brett Eaton and Stephanie had a daughter, Alyssa Caroline Eaton, on July 19th, 2003.

Brother Matthew Garner got engaged to Lisa Smail on March 7, 2003.

Brother Brian Ingram and Jeanette had a daughter, Kylie Lynn Ingram born on Feb 4th, 2003. She weighed 6.1 lbs.

Quick Chapter Update
First and foremost, the process of tearing down Norris Hall is well under way, and 18 Delta Chi brothers are living in luxury out at the new Tiger Towne Village along with over a dozen other fraternities. Please feel free to take a look at the new places if you are in town.
This fall we are proud to announce that we have a solid associate member class, the Alpha Epsilon's. There are 16 guys coming through, and they are off to a great start and well on their way to becoming a part of the bond.
It has been great seeing many of the Alumni out and about during home games to watch the Tigers try and put together a half decent season.

Housing Corp/IRS Status Update (last update 3/12/03):
The Housing Corp became official sometime last year. I have the Articles of Incorporation at the house somewhere. The IRS Non-profit status is still pending. There is alot of work to do on that part still. However, Eric Bender and I met on 3/9/03 and developed a plan to get things rolling.
Items the Housing Corp. Committee will be tackling:
- Finish IRS Paperwork
- File Taxes for the Housing Corp for last year
- Review other Chapter Rental Agreements and develop our own
- Find out the current balances in the Housing Account
- Create/Draft By-laws for the Housing Corp
- House Negotiations with Mr. Bender
- House Repair Issues
Dates (Goals) for getting work done:
- By-Laws, 501(c) paperwork finished - June 1st
- Rental Agreement, House Negotiations - April 12th
- House Repair completed - Aug. 1st
- Taxes Filed - June 1st
- Financial Review - April 12th
Good News and Bad News:
The Good News is that the website has been reworked to allow for quicker, faster changes. Hopefully this will at least keep the home page somewhat updated with current information.
The Bad News is that the DB has not been updated with any updates in a long time. I still have all of the information stored that needs to be changed. Perhaps I need to 'delegate' that responsibility on to someone else.... Any Volunteers??
I still look to add the following functions to the website:
- Improved Image Gallery Functionality
- Chapter slide show
- Easier Alumni DB Updates
